Election Day

Last year I turned 18, and it means that I could vote in the next elections. I´m not sure if I´m going to vote, I would like to express my opinion, but I want to do this informed about the candidates, and not voting for anyone. I think that if someone wants to run for a public position, he or she has to be a person involved in social problems, and committed to solve topics like education, health, the environment, etc. The problem with the present politicians is that they only think in themselves, and earn money at the expense of the people. And while they are turning into millionaires, the common people have to live with deficient systems of education, health, justice or pensions. Although there are some politicians that  really want to help people, but I think they are a minority. I believe that many people don´t trust in politicians because in the electoral campaigns they promise a lot of things like finishing  with delinquency, free education or improve the health system, and when they are chosen, they don´t accomplish the things that they promised.

I´ve never consider to be in a political party or be nominated in a public position, in fact, I don´t like politics very much, I prefer to participate and change the country in other ways, because politics isn´t the only way to be involved in the society.
